Graduation Party

My mom graduated with her teaching degree this past week so we threw her an ice cream bar party and to keep things affordable we made just about everything from cute little tutorials out there on the world wide web.

These melted snowman cookies have been all over the blog world and I shouldn’t have been in charge of making them because I ruined them the second I tried to melt the frosting in the microwave and then we bought the wrong icing to do the faces so it was really runny, but I love how my little sister made them with sad faces.

Then my little sis and I made this quick easy banner with cardstock, crazy scissors and large alpha stamps

 

My other little sister was in charge of these pom poms to hang from the chandelier. They are SO easy to make and I bought all my tissue paper at the Dollar store.

Then we just had a variety of ice cream toppings, ice cream and root beer. My mom is like me and doesn’t like cake so we just did a simple pan of brownies.
